About Me

Sebastian Ruiz

I'm Sebastian Ruiz, a Senior Frontend Engineer with 5+ years of experience building maintainable, high-performance web applications with React and TypeScript.

At Globant, I currently contribute to internal tooling for Disney's content supply chain and media-asset workflows. Previously, I worked on the Property and Rates experience for Choice Hotels through Globant.

I enjoy turning complex product requirements into clear interfaces, reusable systems, and codebases that teams can evolve with confidence.

My work spans frontend architecture, GraphQL and API integrations, automated testing, performance, accessibility, and mentoring. Outside client work, I build products and open-source tools such as Memora and the Evernote MCP Server.

I studied Systems Engineering at the University of Antioquia and continue deepening my practice in system design and cloud architecture.
